We occupid the first 2 beds nearer the door, the curtains was filmsy to the extent of very transparent and during the massge, the curtains facing the door were pulled open so we could have a view of seeing anyone walking in and vice versa. Towards the tail end of the massage, we had to sit up.. totally topless and the masseau behind us massaging our back and neck. And to my surprise, the door sprung opened and one of the staff member a male walked in with an Indian male customer, I immediately shouted and cover myself and ranted at the staff..for first not securing the door, and allowing male into the room without add to insult, the staff apologised reluctantly ..I suspect more to keep me quiet then viewing that it is very very wrong to provide such unforgivable act. After the massage, I complained to the 'manager' who just nodded in silence. I waited quite awhile to be taken into the changing area and as no one there spoke English I really had no choice. I was given a pair of shorts and a robe to put on and taken up 2 flights of stairs. I do wish I had known that before hand as I have a handicap and it was difficult for me to manuver the stairs. I was taken into a darkened room with soft music and inscense. No one spoke and they immediately started by walking on my back! The massage was very thorough and they also used hot rocks which was heavenly! After my massage I was taken to another room, given tea and sat on a lounger while they soaked my feet. There was some confusion as they kept asking questions which I did not understand and eventually they dried my feet and gave me a polish change on my nails and toes but not a full manicure and pedicure. Later they had me put my clothing back on and my nails were not dry yet so I ended up with marred nails. But I have to say the massage was so worth the dissappointment of the manicure and pedicure. Nicely decorated. My husband and i opted for x2 90 minutes massage. They gave us a change of clothes which was nice. It was a good start. However during my massage here are the things that went wrong or not as good compared to my experiences at other spas place in hcmc-after a while day of walking our bodies are quite sweaty. The masseuse did not clean our bodies with a wet towel but rather applied lotion straight away. I didn't like the thought of sweat and lotion mixed together. My feet were quite sweaty given the heat in Vietnam. -the aircon was on really high. I was close to naked and was soo cold. I requested several times for them to turn it off. They did the first time then turned it on again as there were knew guest three in a room-as there were three in a room the third guest had to walk pass us. I was close to naked so felt a little awkward. I had to request them to close my masseuse appears to be very inexperience. I requested harder motion which she tried for the first 10 minutes then went back to used hot stones which was nice but it was circular motion around my back for about 30 minutes. I was tired of the motion and wished she concentrate on other areas. -the masseuse and their colleagues were talking to each other at times. I find it distracting. Overall I'll rate it a 2 star. But was not a good experience, because so many times my experience quite good and I recommend my friend come try the service many times. I do Thai massage kinda often, once a week or sometime twice a week depends on my physical time I also took Thai Massage on 15 Jan, the therapist I dont remember exactly her number 109 or 709 or something. As I stated clearly in the form that I want mildly massage not average, not strong, but mildly because that day I was not feeling well. When we first started, she did it quite strong and I said pls make it more mildly, and I remember that I kept repeating that 2 - 3 times. Also, she did it way out of the spot on my body many times and to be honest, for Thai massage it is very important that you need to be very careful and skilled if you practise it on customer body. Suppose not to rate this bad experience on Tripadvisor, however, after 10 hours finished the massage, my neck and head started feeling so painful on some areas when she did it strongly on neck and head. Seriously I have a thought that not coming back to Miu Miu anymore and so sad to see the service is going down compares to what I had experienced many time is the first time I saw her in Miu Miu, not sure if she is a professional one or the new therapist there. I saw the girls just collected the cups after the customers left to the counter and poured in tea and serve other customers. Hygiene is a big issue, the massage table’s towel felt oily and used. They asked the customers whether they want to take shower before or after, I am not sure why they ask. One guy before us opted to shower after, he asked the girl where he is to shower, she said you just go upstairs. That poor guy they were just trying to shaft him around, so I told her to just give us the form and she can bring him up for shower. So we opted to shower before but there were no shower too. But it’s ok with us, we didn’t chase them for it. We were supposed to be in couple room but I don’t think they have any, just like curtain so man and woman are separated. The place is full of hazard, my husband had a tripped I was so worried. They didn’t bother much about went into a room which is separated by curtains. It’s so oily and ……. around. They asked us to fill up a form to state the strength we wanted, the usual thing, hard, medium or soft. So I am used to hard, and stated some areas hard and so areas medium strength. But the therapist did not even put in effort just rubbed oil onto me. It is a total waste of time. If I could give them negative I will. If they get tired after seeing so many customers then don’t take in so many. No effort at all. Waste of time and so dirty the place. Only 1 toilet and you can see what the person doing in the toilet from outside, I was so embarrassed, because I was just sitting facing the toilet.
